A Shocking Collection of 100 Phrases Depicting Modern Hell
#2 “Hell is a manifestation of what is in your mind.”
There is no way to deceive ourselves.
Countless unimaginable realms of Hell exist, each corresponding to various thoughts and actions.
This book serves as both a warning and a guide, offering insights to help us avoid falling into Hell in the afterlife. The phrases and descriptions within are based on actual accounts from the author, Ryuho Okawa, who witnessed these unsettling realities through his profound spiritual perspective.
It is the author’s sincere hope that readers will use this book as an opportunity to reflect on their thoughts and actions, change their mindset, and create a peaceful, better future—for both this life and the next.
Some of the modern Hell scenes the author witnessed include:
● The grim fate awaiting burglars, beggars, extortionists, and swindlers.
● Various types of modern 'Ogre' and their roles in the modern Hell.
● The painful consequences endured by those who indulge solely in physical pleasure.
● The shocking transformation brought on by laziness and uncleanliness.
● The destiny of egoists who never understood the meaning of true love.
● The fate of selfish, merciless civil servants and corrupt government officials.
● The unimaginable consequences of certain extreme liberal ideologies.
● The abysmal realm reserved for those who commit the most heinous crimes.

The author, Ryuho Okawa asserts that heaven and hell are real, existing within our minds and the way we live. This book specifically focuses on the mindsets that lead us to hell, offering 100 phrases of wisdom to help us avoid falling into it. Without this knowledge, it's difficult to grasp the kinds of thoughts and mindsets that lead to hell, or what hell itself is truly like. Some of the depictions of hell in the book are shocking, but they are deeply educational. I also found some of the messages to be encouraging, especially #90: "Seek the right words, take the right actions, live righteously, do meaningful work, and think each day about how to bring light to the world." I recommend reading this book.
It is inspiring any thought provoking.
